Nicholas Rowe

Nicholas Rowe was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Rowe began his acting career in action flicks like "Young Sherlock Holmes" (1985) starring Nicholas Rowe and the Jason Flemyng film "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (1999). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Return of Hickey" (PBS, 1987-88) and "The Beginning of the Firm" (PBS, 1988-89). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Dougray Scott dramatic adaptation "Enigma" (2002), the Charlie Hunnam dramatic adaptation "Nicholas Nickleby" (2002) and "Seed of Chucky" (2004) with Brad Dourif. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic adaptation "Anton Chekhov's The Duel" (2010) with Andrew Scott, "Mr. Holmes" (2015) and the historical love story "Shanghai" (2015) with Gong Li. He also was featured in the TV movie "Beau Brummell: This Charming Man" (BBC, 2006-07). Most recently, Rowe acted on "The Last Kingdom" (BBC, 2015-).
