Karl Johnson

Actor Karl Johnson started his entertainment career when he was just 11 years old. Johnson's earliest roles were in film, including the horror movie "Night of the Ghouls" (1959) with Kenne Duncan, the Tor Johnson horror flick "Plan 9 From Outer Space" (1959) and the comedy "Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke" (1978) with Cheech Marin. He also appeared in "Jubilee" (1979), the comedy "Valley Girl" (1983) with Nicolas Cage and the Catherine Mary Stewart horror feature "Night of the Comet" (1984). He continued to act in productions like the David Hasselhoff drama "The Final Alliance" (1990), "Return of the Family Man" (1990) with Ron Smerczak and "Kwagga Strikes Back" (1991). He also appeared in "The Tempest" (1991). Recently, he tackled roles in the dramatic comedy "Tomorrow La Scala!" (2002) with Jessica Hynes, "Heidi" (2005) and "The Illusionist" (2006) with Edward Norton. He also appeared in the Stanley Tucci suspenseful mystery "Four Last Songs" (2007) and the action picture "Hot Fuzz" (2007) with Jim Broadbent. Most recently, Johnson acted in the Timothy Spall dramatic biopic "Mr. Turner" (2014).
