My Home My Destiny

Zeynep is the youngest daughter of Bayram, an alcoholic, and Sakine, a cleaner. After her brother dies, a wealthy family that Sakine cleans for adopts Zeynep to educate her. Years later, Zeynep is a law student. On her way to meet her foster parents, Ekrem and Nermin, her car tire blows out near her old neighborhood. She visits Mehdi's repair shop. Mehdi is a brave, popular man whose mother wants him to marry a local girl. His mother sees Zeynep's photo and likes her. Meanwhile, Nermin and Ekrem throw Zeynep a surprise birthday party. Her friend Emine attends, and Sakine also arrives to give Zeynep a gift, creating an awkward reunion.

Shaken by the party, Zeynep visits her old neighborhood for the first time in 12 years. Seeing her birth parents' poverty, she feels intense guilt. She asks Nermin and Ekrem for help, but they refuse, viewing Sakine and Bayram as hopeless. Torn between both families and their mutual resentment, Zeynep feels angry at her foster parents for ignoring her birth family. She cannot even feel happy about Faruk's proposal. Meanwhile, Mehdi faces heavy pressure from his family to marry. Though determined to stay single, he was impressed by a girl he saw in the morning, completely unaware that she was Zeynep, the exact match his family arranged for him.

Tension escalates when Celal points a gun at Mehdi after a confrontation. Mehdi’s sister Müjgan rushes home with the news, causing their mother to faint. Zeynep prepares for her exams while waiting for her birth mother, Sakine, to meet her foster mother, Nermin. However, Sakine angrily rejects Nermin's plans for Zeynep's future and storms out. Sultan tries to convince a distraught Sakine that Zeynep should marry Mehdi. As Zeynep leaves her foster home, she receives an unexpectedly cold reaction from Nermin and Ekrem. Now, Zeynep must make crucial decisions about her life, her two families, and her romantic future.

Mehdi learns details about Zeynep and agrees to meet her. Pushed by their mothers, both Zeynep and Mehdi attend the meeting. Mehdi is shocked to recognize Zeynep from their previous encounters. Zeynep makes light of the situation, admitting she is only there for her mother. However, Mehdi takes the arrangement seriously. When Faruk calls Zeynep, and she ignores it, Mehdi grows suspicious. For the first time, Zeynep feels she doesn't have to hide her true self from a man. As their friends leave them alone, Zeynep and Mehdi must decide whether they have a future together.

Mehdi proposes to Zeynep, but she rejects him. When Zeynep visits Nermin’s house, Ekrem turns her away, saying she hurt Nermin and isn't welcome. Outside, Zeynep runs into Faruk and confesses the truth about her poor birth family, leaving her feeling deeply isolated. Sakine angrily kicks Nermin out when she tries to talk her into letting Zeynep return. Feeling utterly alone, Zeynep visits her brother’s grave, where she meets Mehdi again. Hoping it will end her suffering, Zeynep changes her mind and accepts Mehdi’s proposal. Meanwhile, Mehdi receives unexpected news regarding Veysi.

Zeynep accepts Mehdi’s proposal to make her mother happy, though she feels empty and lost. The families agree on a quick wedding and decide Zeynep’s parents will move into Zeliha’s house. Everyone accepts this except Mehdi’s jealous sister Müjgan and Benal, who is secretly in love with Mehdi. Benal is heartbroken when Mehdi announces his marriage. Mehdi also harbors doubts, fearing a woman like Zeynep will never truly love him and will eventually leave. Meanwhile, Faruk struggles internally to understand Zeynep’s sudden distance and figure out if he can forgive her.
