Al Silvani

Actor Al Silvani appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Silvani's earliest roles were in film, including the comedy "Ocean's Eleven" (1960) with Frank Sinatra, "Cape Fear" (1962) and the George Segal comedy "The Black Bird" (1975). He also appeared in "Rocky" (1976) with Sylvester Stallone. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Al Pacino dramatic adaptation "Bobby Deerfield" (1977), the Clint Eastwood action picture "The Gauntlet" (1977) and "Every Which Way But Loose" (1978). He also appeared in the action flick "Rocky II" (1979) with Sylvester Stallone. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Goldie and the Boxer Go to Hollywood" (NBC, 1980-81). Silvani continued to exercise his talent in the eighties, taking on a mix of projects like "Raging Bull" (1980) starring Robert De Niro, "Rocky III" with Sylvester Stallone (1982) and "Dempsey" (CBS, 1983-84). His credits also expanded to "Sudden Impact" with Clint Eastwood (1983). Silvani last appeared in "A Winner Never Quits" (ABC, 1985-86). Silvani passed away in January 1996 at the age of 86.
