Blanche Friderici

Blanche Frederici was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Frederici's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the Ruth Taylor comedy "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (1928), the drama "Sadie Thompson" (1928) with Gloria Swanson and "Wonder of Women" (1929). She also appeared in "Stolen Love" (1929), "The Trespasser" (1929) and "The Bad One" (1930). Her film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like "The Cat Creeps" (1930), "Friends and Lovers" (1931) and "Ten Cents a Dance" (1931). She also appeared in "Woman Hungry" (1931). Toward the end of her career, she tackled roles in "Man of the Forest" (1933), "The Barbarian" (1933) and the Jean Harlow dramatic comedy "Hold Your Man" (1933). She also appeared in "Behind Jury Doors" (1933) and "Secrets" (1933). Frederici was most recently credited in "It Happened One Night" (1934) with Clark Gable. Frederici passed away in December 1933 at the age of 55.
