Fred Stone

Fred Stone was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Stone began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Broadway After Dark" (1924), "Alice Adams" (1935) and "Grand Jury" (1936). He also appeared in "My American Wife" (1936). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties and the forties, appearing in "The Trail of the Lonesome Pine" (1936), the The Ritz Brothers comedy "Life Begins in College" (1937) and the Gary Cooper western "The Westerner" (1940). Stone was most recently credited in the crime flick "Normal Life" (1996) with Ashley Judd. Stone had four children. Stone passed away in March 1959 at the age of 86.
