Cafe Racer

It's a household name among motorcycle enthusiasts, yet most people have never heard of the cafe racer. This series introduces viewers to the iconic machines whose history dates back to the streets of England in the 1950s, when kids would hang out in transport cafes and challenge one another to races. Beginning with Season 5, "Cafe Racer" becomes known as "Naked Speed" and highlights the culture and craft behind the bikes by way of a competition. In each episode, former Superbike and Supersport champions Ben and Eric Bostrom challenge a motorcycle builder to design, engineer and create a dream bike from an older frame in the retro-style of classic cafe racers. The Bostroms then give the custom two-wheeler a complete shakedown and test drive to see if it lives up to their standards.
