S2, E1: At the hospital bed where Dan lies after a heart attack, Deb contemplates her role in the tragedy. On his way to attempt reconciliation, Dan had found Deb making love to Keith. Meanwhile, Haley and Nathan have gotten married in a ceremony attended only by her parents. Peyton and Brooke begin to recapture their friendship with a day on Brooke's family boat and vow to avoid letting guys come between them again. Whitey learns that he has a brain tumor. And Lucas is living in Charleston with Keith, both having left their problems behind and started new lives. But the news of Dan's hospitalization leads to some soul searching on both of their parts, and when Lucas and Keith arrive back in Tree Hill, life only becomes more tumultuous for everyone involved.
