Barbara Eve Harris

Barbara Eve Harris attended the University of Ottawa, studying philosophy and theater with an eye toward law school, but the lure of the stage proved too powerful. Soon after, in 1985, came her first role in the Canadian fantasy, "Night Magic." Co-written by noted Canadian poet/songwriter Leonard Cohen, "Night Magic" opened the door to other roles for Harris in both film and television. She has been seen on the television series "Prison Break," "CSI: Miami," "JAG," "Boston Legal," and "ER," among others. Her work in film includes Ryuhei Kitamura's 2008 adaptation of horror writer Clive Barker's story "The Midnight Meat Train."
