Earl Dwire

Earl Dwire was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Dwire began his acting career with roles in such films as the western "Riders of Destiny" (1933) with John Wayne, "Galloping Romeo" (1933) and the western "West of the Divide" (1934) with John Wayne. He also appeared in the John Wayne western "The Lucky Texan" (1934), "The Trail Beyond" (1934) and "Randy Rides Alone" (1934). He continued to act in productions like "Unconquered Bandit" (1935), "Toll of the Desert" (1935) and the Tom Tyler western "Pinto Rustlers" (1936). He also appeared in "The Kid Ranger" (1936) with Bob Steele. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Riders of the Dawn" (1937) with Jack Randall, "Danger Valley" (1937) and the western "Riders of the Rockies" (1937) with Tex Ritter. He also appeared in "Hittin' the Trail" (1937) and "The Trusted Outlaw" (1937). Dwire last acted in the Roy Rogers western "The Arizona Kid" (1939). Dwire passed away in January 1940 at the age of 57.
