Singer and songwriter Hayley Williams, was born Hayley Nichole Williams, in Meridian, Mississippi. At age 12 she moved with her mother to Franklin, Tennessee where she met her future bandmates, brothers Zac and Josh Farro. At 14 years old, Williams signed a deal with Atlantic Records and formed the pop punk band Paramore with Jeremy Davis, Josh Farro, and Zac Farro. They released their debut album, "All We Know Is Falling" in 2005. In the summer of 2006 their first US headliner tour saw sold out audiences. Paramore would go on to release two more studio albums, Riot! (2007) and Brand New Eyes (2009). The band saw a shake up in 2010 with the departure of the Farro brothers and addition of guitarist Taylor York. The subsequent album, "Paramore" (2013) proved to be a breakthrough for Williams, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "Ain't it Fun" earned a Grammy award for Best Rock Song. Williams continued as the lead singer of Paramore while the line-up under her fluctuated. Jeremy Davis left the group in 2016 and Zac Farro returned in 2017. Paramore released two additional albums, "After Laughter" (2017) and "This Is Why" (2023). In 2019, Williams also began work on solo ventures, releasing "Petals for Armor" in 2020 and "Flowers for Vases / Descansos" in 2021.
