When the remains of a much-disliked company office manager are found in a building elevator shaft, Booth and Brennan must find out which one of the employees had reason to murder the victim. From a recently-fired employee to the victim’s own boss, the team realizes this office manager had more than their share of complaints to file. Meanwhile, Brennan’s bleak and morbidly realistic grad student lends his insight to the case, and Hodgins and Angela try to navigate their post break-up relationship.

House returns to the hospital after a short stint in rehab; Cuddy comes to collect on the debt of perjuring herself for House; House encounters a patient who tests positive for an STD and says she was raped recently.

When a 6-year-old girl collapses at day care, the team discovers that she has a condition that is common in much older patients; tension develops between Cameron and Chase.

The team is on the case when human remains are found inside a barrel of wine during a wine tasting. When the victim turns out to be a wine critic whose scathing reviews were capable of sending a vineyard to its ruin, everyone from the winery’s owner to the victim’s own wife becomes a suspect. Meanwhile, Brennan decides she wants to have a baby and surprises Booth with the request to father her child. The unexpected request dredges up a host of unspoken feelings and unresolved issues between the two of them, and Booth becomes consumed by the prospect of having another child. The stress of the situation, coupled with Booth’s undiagnosed health issue, paves the way for a surprise visit from Stewie Griffin (guest voice Seth MacFarlane), FAMILY GUY’s diabolically clever baby who offers Booth advice in his inimitable style.

A BMX rider’s remains are discovered in a molding mass on the roof of a warehouse after a failed attempt to complete a bike stunt. While Booth and Brennan interrogate the victim’s fellow riders, Hodgins and his newly mellow “squint” Fisher identify the numerous fractures in the victim’s skeletal structure, and Angela recreates the series of events that led to the fatal accident. But when Booth and Brennan locate the victim’s stolen bike and fiberglass is found at the crime scene, the team concludes that the victim was killed by blunt physical force, making his death a criminal investigation. Meanwhile, Sweets turns to Booth for advice about proposing to Daisy, and Booth makes a grand gesture to show Hannah his commitment to their relationship.
