Jonathan Brackley

One half of a small-screen writing partnership with Sam Vincent, Jonathan Brackley proved himself a reliable purveyor of episodic genre programming in the United Kingdom and beyond. After churning out episodes of shows like "Hotel Babylon" (BBC One 2006-09) and "Spooks" (BBC One 2002-2011), Brackley and Vincent went on to create their own TV series: the sci-fi drama "Humans" (Channel 4/AMC 2015-). Jonathan Brackley was born in East London, England. He graduated from the University of Warwick with degrees in film and literature studies. Following an early interest in television production, Brackley focused chiefly on a career in writing, teaming up with Sam Vincent to turn out episodes of a number of popular television programs. Brackley and Vincent made their joint debut writing an episode for the fourth season of the British drama series "Hotel Babylon" (BBC One 2006-09). Afterward, the pair nabbed a regular job penning episodes of "Spooks" (BBC One 2002-2011), a British spy series known internationally as "MI-5." Brackley and Vincent co-wrote nine episodes total for the show. The duo flexed their creative muscles in earnest in the creation of the science fiction drama series "Humans" (Channel 4/AMC 2015-), a drama based on the concept of artificially intelligent robots living amongst human beings.
