Ketty Lester

Ketty Lester was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Lester's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as the dramatic adaptation "Uptight" (1968) with Raymond St Jacques, the horror movie "Blacula" (1972) with William Marshall and "Uptown Saturday Night" (1974) with Sidney Poitier. She also appeared in the TV movie "It's Good to Be Alive" (CBS, 1973-74). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-) and "Little House on the Prairie" (NBC, 1974-1983). She also appeared in the TV special "Hunter" (CBS, 1976-77). She also starred in the TV movies "Cops and Robin" (1977-78), "Battered" (NBC, 1978-79) and "The Night the City Screamed" (ABC, 1980-81). Additionally, she appeared on the television special "Moving Day" (PBS, 1987-88). She also worked in television during these years, including roles in "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1987-1994) and "Quantum Leap" (NBC, 1988-1993). She also acted in films like "Street Knight" (1993) and the comedy sequel "House Party 3" (1994) with Christopher "Kid" Reid. Most recently, Lester appeared on "Rock and Roll Graffiti" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000).
