Lilimar

Venezuelan actress Lilimar Hernandez Ruiz found fame in her early teens thanks to roles in telenovela "Rosario" (Univision, 2013) and kids sitcom "Bella and the Bulldogs" (Nickelodeon, 2015-). Born in Nueva Esparta to Cuban parents, Ruiz moved to Miami aged six where she attended modeling classes at the John Casablancas Career Center, going on to appear in various commercials, music videos and web series before she'd entered her teens. In 2012, she was chosen to appear in the kids segment of long-running variety show "Sabado Gigante" (Univision, 1962-2015) and a year later was cast as Elenita in the soap opera "Rosario" (Univision, 2013). After dubbing the voice of Emily Kusche for the Spanish-language release of children's fantasy "The Little Ghost" (2013), Ruiz appeared in the short films "Pedro Pan" (2014) and "Last Children" (2014) as Elena Martinez, one of two siblings sent to Miami to escape Fidel Castro's regime in the early '60s, and Hiyas, a critically-ill survivor of a chemical war that has wiped out the adult population, respectively. In 2015, Ruiz landed the part of Bella's no-nonsense cheerleader best friend Sophie Belarosa in the middle school comedy "Bella and the Bulldogs" (Nickelodeon, 2015-).
