P.J. Soles

P.J. Soles

A blonde, snub-nosed actress of film and TV who fared well in the 1970s, often playing less than wholly sympathetic vixens such as the baseball cap sporting co-conspirator in "Carrie" (1976), P J Soles also appeared in "Halloween" (1978), another teen horror classic of the era, as the best friend of Jamie Lee Curtis. She finished up the decade with a fine and memorable starring performance in "Rock 'n' Roll High School" (1979), as the number one fan of the Ramones. Soles went on to supporting roles in some high profile Hollywood pictures including "Breaking Away" (1979), "Private Benjamin" (1980), as a tough recruit, and "Stripes" (1981), as a sexy MP who falls for Bill Murray. She has also had lead roles in several obscure international co-productions, regional releases and direct-to-video fodder.
