Blinded Kiss

Serial bookworm Waka Kashiwagi (Yurika Nakamura) has a problem: her collection of books has grown too large to fit in a regular house! But when she bumps into high school classmate Shinobu Kamijo (Ryosuke Hashimoto), it looks like Waka may have found a solution. Now a successful scientific researcher, Shinobu has a large residence that can also house Waka – and her vast array of books. Waka agrees, although the duo have a history: in high school, Shinobu kissed Waka while she was reading in the school library, but moved overseas with his family shortly after. Unbeknownst to Waka, Shinobu still has feelings for her. Will Waka’s love for literature leave no room for romance – or could her new living arrangements lay the foundations for a new relationship? This 2021 Japanese drama series, based on a manga series by Hiiro Kisaragi, was directed by Akimori Sakemi, Yuta Yoshikawa, and Yui Matsuzaki.
