Being a celebrity isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sure, there's the money, big houses and star-studded parties, but there's also a seedier side to fame. Jealousy, greed and murder are among the negative aspects of being famous and are regular subjects of this docuseries that profiles some rising stars whose roads to fame took detours, encountering deadly situations. Each hourlong episode tells one star-to-be's story from its rise to the untimely end. Re-enactments, interviews with friends and loved ones, and testimony from witnesses and detectives help to tell each tale.
