Soon-jung delivers chicken without her father knowing; she receives an order from her classmate enemies, Eun-bi and her crew, and gets arrested at the police station after an argument; Soon-jin and Woon-tak meet at the station as their guardians.

Woon-tak threatens Jin-sam to convince Young-pyo to cancel the lawsuit; Jin-sam goes to Seoul to attend his niece's wedding and visits Soon-soo at her dorm.

Soon-jung states her family cannot run the Woon-tak chicken franchise and asks Woon-tak for the return of the contract, but is ignored; Soon-jung sneaks into Woon-tak's house to steal the contract, but runs into Eun-bi.

Jin-sam passes away after helping Soon-jung escape, handing her Young-pyo's USB and advising her to never lose hope; Woon-tak acts as the principal mourner at Jin-sam's funeral.

Soon-jung asks Kwan-mo why Woon-tak was at the farm, but he advises her to let it go; Soon-chul visits Jin-sam, but is disheartened after hearing the news.

Woon-tak and Soon-jin convince the school chancellor to allow Soon-soo to graduate; Soon-soo states she will go abroad to study and never return; Mi-ja goes to Soon-jin's school and threatens the board to fire Soon-jin.
