Race for the Planet

As the St Helena arrives with all the kit needed, the drama of this ambitious project starts to unfold. Set against the dunes of the Saudi desert, the challenge of putting on an Extreme E event becomes very real.

On the Atlantic Ocean coast, the second round features dramatic racing as the drivers get to grips with the new track. The action includes a red flag and wheel-to-wheel racing between three F1 world champions.

The third round of Extreme E takes place against the incredible backdrop of an Arctic glacier. The drivers battle it out on the ice and highlight the stark and dramatic aspects of climate change in Greenland.

Based on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, the drivers battle car reliability issues; Chip Ganassi Racing aim to put their poor luck behind them.

In Bovington, England, the drivers encounter a classically wet British winter. With the elements at their worst, the season reaches a dramatic conclusion, with two teams able to win the inaugural Extreme E competition on the final day.
