Scumbag System

Shen Yuan (protagonist), an avid xianxia novel reader, finds himself mysteriously transported into the world of "Proud Immortal Demon Way" as Chen Qing Qiu, the scumbag master destined to be defeated by his disciple Luo Bing He (supporting character). Determined to change his predetermined tragic fate, Shen Yuan attempts to befriend Bing He, but The System constantly monitors and blocks his efforts to deviate from the original storyline. Despite the strict constraints, Shen Yuan remains committed to finding creative ways to survive and potentially alter his character's tragic end. Will he successfully circumvent The System and rewrite his destiny, or will he be forced to follow the novel's original script? Adapted from the novel "Scum Villain's Self-Saving System" by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, this is a 2020 Chinese animated series directed by Zhang Hai Dong.
