In a world where vampires and humans co-exist, Du Xiao Xin isn’t exactly someone who stands out in a crowd. Just an ordinary high school student living a very ordinary human life, Xiao Xin spends her days quietly going about her business. But when she accidentally bumps into the school “Prince” Luo Yi, everything changes.  As the heir of a noble vampire family, Luo Yi is as close to actual royalty as anyone can be. With his extraordinary good looks and his irresistible vampire charm, Luo Yi practically rules the school. Naturally, when fate brings Xiao Xin into his life, Luo Yi expects her to fall all over him, which leaves him quite surprised when he realizes it’s actually the other way around. With a strong desire to taste Xiao Xin’s blood, Luo Yi knows he won’t be satisfied until he does so. Unfortunately, Xiao Xin isn’t at all eager to agree to his request. When word spreads around the school that Xiao Xin has rejected Luo Yi’s advances, she immediately becomes the target of ceaseless bullying. But her tormentor soon becomes her protector, when Luo Yi intervenes on her behalf. Despite her very deep-seated hatred of vampires, Xiao Xin soon finds herself falling for Luo Yi’s many charms. Struggling to make sense of the strange turn her life has taken, Xiao Xin finds herself wondering, how fine is the line between loathing and love? Adapted from the comic of the same name by Yi Kai and Rui Si, “Sweet Bite Marks” is a 2022 Chinese animated series produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures.
