Cement Garden

The mother of Julie, Jack, Sue, and Tom begins to suffer from a mysterious illness shortly after the death of their father. Aware that she must go away to convalesce, she opens a bank account for the children so that they can be financially self-sufficient and avoid being taken into care by the authorities. Unfortunately, she soon dies and the older children, Julie and Jack, decide to hide her body in the basement. Soon, the quirks the children have suppressed surface; Tom begins dressing as a girl, Sue becomes increasingly reticent, and Jack and Julie develop an attraction for each one another. However, Julie's new beau, Derek, threatens to unearth the many dark secrets within this family as he becomes increasingly suspicious of Jack.
