Hastily married to Master Chen's daughter, the young Lu Chan begins to study the powerful form of tai chi. But the villager's are reminded of the ancient prophecy that promises the villages utter destruction should they teach an outsider their martial arts, so Lu Chan is ostracised once more. When the villainous Fang returns to exact his revenge with an army of steampunk soldiers, the villagers finally realise they must trust the outsider Lu Chan in order to survive. But is it too late?
