Alan Blumenfeld

Alan Blumenfeld began his career in 1983 with a small role in the hit technological thriller "WarGames," starring a young Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy. The next year, he appeared on six episodes of the sitcom "Family Ties" with Michael J. Fox. Blumenfeld continued to build his resume throughout the '80s and early '90s, with recurring roles on the shows "Brooklyn Bridge" and "Life Goes On." In the '00s he was cast in a number of popular shows, most notably "Felicity," leading to a four-year stint on the acclaimed family com-dram "Gilmore Girls" as Rabbi David Barans. He has also played recurring roles on "Philly" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." Blumenfeld's most well known role, though, is that of Maury Parkman on the sci-fi series "Heroes."
