Cody is practising for the spelling bee that's to be held in the hotel, while Zack's scrounging money to play in the arcade. Cody finds himself competing against someone who's lent Zack money.

Arwin's mother moves out and the twins feel sorry for him. They invite him to dinner but afterwards he won't go home. Zack and Cody give his home a makeover to make it more attractive.

Zack negotiates with Mr. Moseby over a raise for Carey, while London and Nia use Cody to help pass their science projects.

Cody gets the job as editor of the school newspaper and appoints Zack as agony aunt. He proves very popular until he abuses his role by advising a girl he likes to go out with him.

Cody helps London to produce her own online web show. Zack becomes addicted to the online web game, and doesn't realise that his fiercest opponent in cyber space is actually Moseby.

Cody thinks a new violinist is flirting with his girlfriend; London tries to learn about the hotel business.
