Brooklyn Sudano

The daughter of famous parents, Brooklyn Sudano had a natural insight into the show business lifestyle. Born to singer Donna Summer and songwriter Bruce Sudano, Sudano grew up on her family's 52-acre ranch in Thousand Oaks, California until the age of ten. The family then moved to Connecticut and later to Nashville, all the while nurturing Sudano's interest in music, acting, and dance, going so far as to let the aspiring performer sing backup at her mother's concerts during her summers as a teenager. Sudano would eventually enroll at Vanderbilt University, but eventually dropped out to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She also began supporting herself as a model, appearing in campaigns for Clairol, Clean & Clear, and K-Mart. Eventually, Sudano branched into television, replacing actor Meagan Good as character Vanessa Scott on the sitcom "My Wife and Kids" (ABC, 2001-05). She would go on to make several guest appearances over the next few years on numerous series including "Cuts" (UPN, 2005-06), "CSI: NY" (CBS, 2004-2013), "90210" (CW, 2008-2013), and "Without a Trace" (CBS, 2002-09). After a role in the urban dance film "Crew 2 Crew" (2012) and a part in the mini-series "11.22.63" (Hulu, 2016), Sudano joined the cast of the action thriller series "Taken" (NBC, 2016-).
