A praised Grammy winner, Gotye was considered a leading talent in the music industry. Gotye worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Saturday Night Live" (NBC, 1975-) and "The Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS, 1993-2015). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Gotye's music mostly appeared in films like "The Bank Job" (2008) with Jason Statham, the dramatic comedy "Whip It" (2009) with Ellen Page and the romantic comedy "Going the Distance" (2010) with Drew Barrymore. His work was also in the Leonardo DiCaprio blockbuster dramatic adaptation "The Great Gatsby" (2013). Gotye's music was most recently used in "Boyhood" (2014) with Patricia Arquette.
