John James

John James was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. James began his acting career with roles in such films as "Murder By Invitation" (1941), "Flying Tigers" (1942) and "The Sombrero Kid" (1942). He also appeared in the western "Westward, Ho!" (1942) with Bob Steele. His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "The Man From Thunder River" (1943), "Hidden Valley Outlaws" (1944) and "Bedside Manner" (1945). He also appeared in "Renegades of the Rio Grande" (1945). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the horror flick "Devil Bat's Daughter" (1946) with Rosemary LaPlanche, "Partners in Time" (1946) and the Allan Lane western "Homesteaders of Paradise Valley" (1947). James last acted in "The Countess of Monte Cristo" (1948). James passed away in May 1960 at the age of 50.
