A man, who is a paranoid schizophrenic, has a delusional episode while on a full train and takes the passengers hostage, including Elle. Gideon and Hotchner race to save Elle and the other hostages.

When word spreads that Lorelai was the one who proposed, Luke is embarrassed; Lorelai, still angry at Rory for dropping out, tells Emily and Richard that they can care for her now.

Lorelei is stunned to hear Rory's plans for the future and turns to Richard and Emily for help, but soon realises that Luke is the only person she can trust.

Buffy is devastated when she finds the body of her dead mother, and Dawn and the others are crushed and bewildered by the unexpected loss of a loved one.
