JD rethinks his relationship with his interns when Dr Kelso tells him he will inevitably treat them badly. Carla accidentally gives Elliot an odd nickname at her new job. Dr Cox prevents Turk from warning Jordan about a con man.

In an attempt to impress Kylie on their first date, JD accidentally initiates a SARS quarantine in the hospital.

Elliot's interns start to reflect badly on her, forcing her to crack the whip with them; the janitor sabotages JD's video-diary project, which was to have been a gift to his mother.

JD wonders if his last day at Sacred Heart will live up to his imagination, and wonders about his future after leaving the hospital. Elliot wants to take her relationship with JD to the next level.
