Having fled their lives in Bristol, our supernatural heroes find themselves in Wales looking for a safe haven in which to continue their under the radar existence. With Annie stuck in Purgatory, Mitchell, George and Nina are desperate to get her back. Mitchell crosses into the Afterlife where he meets his guide, Lia, a flirtatious young woman who leads him through Purgatory, making him revisit the crime scenes from his past.

Nina fears the worst for her pregnancy, since the baby was conceived whilst she and George were transformed as werewolves. On their search for information from other werewolves, they encounter surly McNair and his over friendly son Tom, who claims he was born a werewolf. Mitchell is scared to find more werewolves around so close to a full moon, since the prophecy he was dealt foretold that he would die at the hands of one.

The net closes in on Mitchell when Detective Nancy Reid questions him about his involvement in the Box Tunnel Massacre. Trying to explain the police interest in him, Mitchell explains to Annie that his old vampire friend Daisy must be trying to frame him.
