Awaiting Kirin

Intrigued by a mysterious firearm in the possession of a bandit leader, Akechi Jubei sets out on a journey to find it. Eventually arriving in Sakai, Jubei meets Matsunaga Hisahide.

Mitsuhide and Koma head back to Mino, where an invasion from the neighbouring land, Owari, awaits them; Mitsuhide's lord, Saito Dosan, waits for Owari's Oda Nobuhide in this city of Inokuchi; Oda's forces storm Inokuchi, falling into Dosan's trap.

Upon learning of the plot to assassinate Nagayoshi, Akechi Jubei delivers a warning to the Mitsubushi residence; Mitsubushi steps in to save Miyoshi.
