Guts is still coming to terms with his fateful encounter with the monk and his daughter when he is confronted by the Holy Iron Chain Knights.

Guts and Puck are taken aback by Farnese's inability to see the elf, but Farnese refuses to accept anything further than what she thinks is real in her world and is about to be tested.

Guts returns to a place he'd left two years ago to reconnect with old friends, but finds that someone he holds most dear has vanished.

Casca gets taken to the torture chamber. Meanwhile, Luca leads Guts, Ishidro, and Puck into the tower.

As people struggle to survive the onslaught of demonic forces, the eclipse reaches its zenith; Guts freezes in the face of someone from his past.

Guts is able to get Casca back at Albion and goes back to Godo's shack where he sees Rickert with Griffith who has regained his physical form in Albion. Guts fails to hold back his anger and attacks.
