Class Swap

Expectations are high as the Meath students arrive into a cool but pleasant Finland. The Limerick group hit sunny Spain while the Leitrim students find themselves digging their minibus out of the snow in rural Poland.

The group from Meath are shocked by their first class in Finland; in Poland, school starts at 8am so the Leitrim students will be up early for the next two weeks; yet, the weather in Spain keeps the Limerick students happy.

In Poland, the Leitrim students think the 10-minute break between classes is brilliant while the Meath group are enjoying a rather more relaxed atmosphere in Finland; the Limerick students are noticing the effects of austerity in Spanish classrooms.

The Leitrim students struggle with mathematics in Poland without their calculators; also the Limerick students discover Physical Education in Spain is a whole new ball game.

This time around, the Limerick students are impressed at the confidence of Spanish teenagers while the Finnish school teaches the Meath group how to cook a meal.

The last few days for Irish students sampling school life in Spain, Poland, and Finland but it's classes as usual for the three groups of students and their teachers.
