In his long and often controversial life Wright created a series of brilliant and original public buildings and private homes, many of which have been preserved, while his interior designs for furniture and decorative elements remain hugely popular today in stores and museums alike. Frank Lloyd Wright interweaves Wright’s extraordinary career with his equally extraordinary life. He was a complicated and arrogant man whose personal saga could easily have come from an epic novel. He was larger than life, a professional “great man” who never saw any limits for himself. A collection of diverse archival resources, including architectural drawings and plans, rare, never-before-seen film footage of Wright, as well as hundreds of historical photos, together with new, live footage of existing Wright buildings, are brought together to tell his story.
