It's a Vet's Life

In Teesdale, farm vet Richard helps a sheep who has mysteriously gone blind; a springy spaniel proves a handful for small animal vet Steve; in Fife, vet Adam deals with an emotional case: a homeless kitten run over by a car.

A labrador gun dog is rushed to small animal vet Steve after being accidentally shot in the face; on his countryside rounds, farm vet Richard visits baby alpacas in need of microchipping and a herd of belted galloway cattle.

Adam decides that his much-loved shetland pony Hector needs a major operation to make him less aggressive; in Teesdale, farm vet Graham has double trouble when he discovers a cow is having difficulty giving birth to twins.

Adam deals with a life-saving emergency when a dog is hit by a train; Richard artificially inseminates some Welsh black cattle; at the rural practice, feathers are ruffled when vet Steve tries to clip a budgie's claws.
