Rose falls into Fairy Tale Land where she begins adventures at her new school, Regal Academy, with fairytale classmates, all grandchildren of fairytale characters. She finds out where she fits into the magical world.
The students take their first Dragon Riding class which ends in a race to Dragon Land between Rose, Hawk, Travis, Astoria and Joy.
The literature teacher, Magister Rapunzel, sets a special assignment for Rose's team but the day ends in a chaotic mix of swans, frogs and monsters.
Rose and Hawk get ready for their first lesson in Heroism class, where they are required to retrieve a golden egg. They must enter a giant's castle in order to get it.
The pretty princesses are wooed by the bridge troll from Three Billy Goats Gruff that has been summoned during Doctor LeFrog's potion class.
When the Gate to Earth closes, Granny Cinderella invites some of the students to stay at the castle. When shoes start disappearing, Rose, Joy and Astoria embark on a mission to solve the mystery.
