When Sam wakes up in bed with Alex, both go to absurd lengths to try and prevent any misunderstandings.

Sam and Alex struggle over whether or not to tell Phil that his new girlfriend, Daisy, rubs them the wrong way.

Sam is having trouble dumping her boyfriend Colin because he's too nice; Phil and Alex decide to help by coming up with a scheme to make Colin break up with Sam first.

Sam has a crush, but he is very shy so she has to make the first move; Alex discovers that his girlfriend is actually very rich, and everything comes to a head in a Caribbean restaurant run by the terrifying Mumma.

Sam joins Alex and Phil in a competition to write a new slogan for a brand of wheat flakes cereal. They become obsessed with writing a winning slogan.

Phil discovers he has a low sperm count and worries that is a reflection of his masculinity; Sam becomes smitten by an Italian stallion.
