In a world split between light and dark, monsters ravage the lands as the King of Darkness devotes himself to war. A boy whose village was destroyed questions the king's rule.

Queen Iris heads into battle as the monstrous Bahl wages war against the Kingdom of White. The young Prince of Darkness starts training to become king.

Iris reflects on her duties in the Kingdom of White. Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Black, the Prince of Darkness competes to officially be named heir to the throne.

On a diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of White, the prince and Adel must carefully navigate the tense wartime atmosphere between their kingdoms.

Iris works with the King of Darkness to put an end to Bahl and his indiscriminate rampages. The forces of darkness rally to stop Bahl's assault, but must hold out long enough for the two monarchs to bring him down.

Groza brings an offer to extend the peace to the prince and Adel in the Kingdom of White. As the two sides build their new-found friendship, Groza becomes irritated by the prince's interest in Iris.
