The Last Madame

Chi Ling discovers the intrigues of her great-grandmother's mysterious world in a brothel set in early 1940s Singapore.

A young entitled client causes trouble at the House of Phoenix, injuring one of the girls; in the present, Chi Ling's foot injury prevents her from returning to Hong Kong.

A new and astute chief inspector is in town and is determined to get behind the murders in the district, including two cold-blooded murders that put Fung Lan and the House of Phoenix under intense pressure.

The House of Phoenix is a flurry of activities in the mornings, showing the other side of things, including Fung Lan's other side.

Chi Ling's past is further unveiled; a new mystery leads Chi Ling and Guo Wen on a hunt for more missing pieces to her past; meanwhile, Siu Lan is swept off her feet by a younger gentleman.

With the help of Inspector Mak, Fung Lan locates a distraught Siu Lan; Chi Ling gets to know Guo Wen and his selfless acts for the community.
