In the midst of the Cold War in 1965, scientist Francis Mareuil prepares to work for the French secret services and the CIA. He meets Lyudmila Goloubeva, a pianist forced to work for the KGB, and falls in love with her.

A Soviet orbital bomb project threatens the global geopolitical balance in 1965. The French secret service hire aerospace engineer Francis Mareuil to recruit the scientist who researched the bomb.

Francis learns that Boris is under surveillance by the Stasi, the East German secret service. He approaches Lyudmila, thinking that she will be able to give him access to his father.

When the space probe crashes in the Algerian desert, Boris Goloubev contradicts the Soviet army about how to handle the crisis and he is placed under house arrest.
EPISODE 4
Episode 4
Lyudmila returns to Czechoslovakia and is threatened by the KGB. Francis tries to understand what Boris found in the probe and becomes increasingly estranged from his family.
EPISODE 5
Episode 5
Lyudmila is alone and trapped in Czechoslovakia. Francis takes part in a mission with the CIA and SDECE to contact Boris.
EPISODE 6
Episode 6
Anne makes a worrying discovery about Charles Contignet. Lyudmila hides from the KGB, but her only way out is to ask Francis for help.
