Lidia and Manuel are trying to live their professional lives and to keep the romance alive, Manuel's father moves in with them. Lidia is doing very good at her job, so much that she gets a promotion which means moving to Monterrey, away from both families. On the other hand, Manuel's beer business is not moving forward and is close to failure.
