It’s Mystery Box day, and upon arrival, our home cooks are greeted by an enormous Mystery Box, the biggest ever in MasterChef history, marking the start of Big Week.

The judges reveal that today’s Round 2 challenge is to create the most impressive dish in 75 minutes, using only the ingredients in Julie’s stew.

It’s Nostalgia week and our three contestants walk in to a Pressure Test set by Gelato Messina’s Donato Toce.

Today’s cooks will face a two-round challenge. The first round sees the contestants having to choose one of three ingredients that the judges loved during their childhood.

Continuing Big Week, the contestants enter the MasterChef Kitchen and find it empty with a plinth at the top of the room.

It’s Day 3 of the competition and the contestants know that Jamie has left something for them, in the shape of the four coloured cloches.
