Dr Rhodes persuades Dr Latham to accompany him on a medical trip out of town. Meanwhile, an 8-year-old cancer patient wants to give up his battle.

Dr Rhodes takes care of a patient whose accident has become a media sensation and April befriends a young woman with a failing heart.
