Sam Vincent

Sam Vincent had only a few episodes' worth of television writing experience under his belt when he set out to create "Humans" (Channel 4/AMC 2015-), his very own science-fiction television series about a world in which artificially intelligent robots live among human men and women. Nevertheless, Vincent was driven to bring his creative vision to life on the small screen, and joined forces with writing partner Jonathan Brackley to launch their unique series in the United States and the United Kingdom at once. Sam Vincent made his industry debut penning a fourth season episode for the British drama series "Hotel Babylon" (BBC One 2006-09), co-writing the script with fellow aspiring writer Jonathan Brackley. The pair would work together from there on out, contributing a total of nine episodes to the British spy drama series "Spooks" (BBC One 2002-2011), otherwise known as "MI-5," which starred Peter Firth, David Oyelowo, and Matthew Macfadyen. Following their tenure on "Hotel Babylon," Vincent and Brackley went on to develop their own series: a science-fiction drama that dealt in the meaty themes of artificial intelligence. In the program, "Humans" (Channel 4/AMC 2015-), human beings would employ A.I. robots as servants, with the social schematic incurring unforeseen consequences in the process.
