Muppy, the favourite pet of The Muppet Theatre owner JP Grosse, becomes a prima donna when Kermit reluctantly allows him to do a musical number with Scooter. Guest star Juliet Prowse is pestered by three of the Green Gazelles.
When Fozzie overhears Gonzo, Hilda, Kermit and Scooter talking about getting rid of "that bear," he assumes the conversations are about him and decides to leave the theatre. Guest star Connie Stevens and the Mutations perform `Teenager in Love'.
Fozzie comes up with a new act that he practices on everyone at the theatre, which drives them nuts. The concept is simple: toss him a subject and he'll throw back a joke about it. Guest star Joel Grey performs `Wilkommen'.
Kermit gets upset when Scooter brings a mechanical frog to the theatre. It harasses Kermit and looks so much like him that even Kermit can't tell them apart. Guest star Ruth Buzzi sings `Can't Take My Eyes Off You' as a duet with Sweetums.
When the backstage phone rings and Fozzie answers it, he and Kermit are launched on a running gag that escalates with each call. Guest star Rita Moreno goes head-to-head with Miss Piggy and performs `Fever' with Animal on the drums.
Kermit reluctantly hires Scooter, a kid who is eager to work as a gofer and whose uncle is JP Grosse, the owner of The Muppet Theatre. Guest star Jim Nabors sings `Gone with the Wind' while an actual storm brews and blows Jim's pants away.
