S1, E2: Winning Roland Garros in 1997 turns Guga into a global tennis star overnight. However, when he returns to the tournament in 1998, he loses to Marat Safin in the second round, and in 1999 Andrei Medvedev beat him in the quarterfinals. In 2000, he returns once again with the intention of becoming the champi-on and easily reaches the quarterfinals, where he faces Yevgueni Kafelnikov again. He wins the game, be-coming the "Picasso" of tennis -as Kafelnikov then called him- for his style of painting the court. During the semifinal, in a difficult match against Ferrero, he prevails and thus reaches the final against Magnus Nor-man. This match remains in the memory of all tennis fans to this day, as he won after four sets and six match points, earning the title of two-time champion.
