Jeff Hiller

Even those who didn't immediately recognize Jeff Hiller's name often recognized the comedic actor's hard to forget face. A veteran of the improv comedy scene, Hiller was born in San Antonio, Texas. After studying both theater and theology at Texas Lutheran University, Hiller spent some time as a social worker helping homeless youth in Denver, Colorado. His pull towards the stage eventually led him to New York however, where he began performing with the Upright Citizen's Brigade in 2001. Hiller would go on to become a core member of the institution, in addition to creating improvised musicals with the improv troupe Baby Wants Candy and founding the all-gay improv troupe Neely O'Hara. Meanwhile, Hiller began co-starring in "Silence! The Musical," an irreverent musical based on "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991) at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2005. He would later perform the role off-Broadway and in Los Angeles. Hiller also performed in the off-Broadway rock musical "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson" while simultaneously auditioning for film and TV roles. He wracked up guest appearances on TV shows and supporting roles in small films before joining the cast of the showbiz satire "Nightcap" (Pop, 2016-).
