A small soccer team from southern Brazil makes it to the final of the Copa Sudamericana for the first time in its history, but their meteoric ascent soon turns into a disastrous nightmare.

The first rescuers arrive at the site where LaMia's plane crashed in a mountain near Medellín, Colombia, and within hours they announce the death of 71 people and the miraculous survival of a small number of passengers.

Marco Rocha, one of LaMia's founders, tells the story of the company and its history transporting soccer teams throughout Latin America, as well as introducing the owners of the crashed airplane.
